Riding all the rides, BY HIMSELF, at Coney Island. I was a nrevous wreck the whole time that he would somehow maneuver his way out in the middle of the ride and fall out, but he had the time of his life. He actually threw a tantrum every time he saw me coming toward him because he knew that meant I was coming to get him off the ride.

Some Weekend Pictures
This weekend we went to Holy Cross Immaculata's Festival in Mt Adams on Friday night. Griffin found the rock pit pretty quickly and showed us his throwing skills, all while holding onto his cookie from cousin Livi. We also went to Findlay Market for some fresh produce on Saturday. Griffin ate an entire peach in about 4 minutes. He loves fruit!

Our Little Helper
We think this may have stemmed from him watching us wipe the floors at least 15 times a day from the time he was one week until about 11 months old (he used to spit up a LOT!).

Recent Tongue Discovery
Don't really know how to explain this video. However, don't forget to watch the end where he finishes my sentence with the word "Puff", his favorite food. He has been doing this for a month now :)

"Stuck"
As you can tell from my videos lately Griffin has been talking a lot. He now probably says about 15 words, and I can't wait until he can start putting some words together. I also like how he "answers" questions now. When asked a question he will shake his head no for no and nod his head and say "mm-hmm!" for yes. We go through this every night when I ask him if he wants to read a certain book. We must read at least 10-15 books every day and he is starting to show preferences (ones with trucks, animals, buses, or ones that have a song in them). Another milestone he hit last week is that he no longer eats baby food. Mealtimes are a lot easier now, he just eats whatever we eat. I made tuna-noodle casserole yesterday and he had some for lunch and then when he saw it was for dinner he said "mmmmmmm". Makes me feel like a great chef!

Sliding
We went to the Children's Museum on this rainy day with our friends Laura and Tessa. Griffin went down the slide all by himself for the first time, too. He is really turning into a monkey, climbing on EVERYTHING!
