We Miss You Shell

"The other night dear, as I lay sleeping.."

Do you see the resemblance?

Everybody says Griffin looks exactly like his father...the bald head might be the only difference.

Whenever aunt Shell comes in town she gets some really cute pictures of Griffin.

Griffin's Baptism

Griffin was baptized yesterday at St Mary Church. Then we had a party at Swaim Lodge in Montgomery. Thanks to everyone who came and celebrated with us, it was a lot of fun! Also, a special thanks to Griffin's godparents, aunt Michele and uncle Matt.

Need a pick-me-up? Turn up your volume!

A kiss or just a taste?

Lately, everything goes in Griffin's mouth...faces included. Is he giving a kiss or just trying to taste your face, grandma?

Grandma is going to be mad...

Couldn't resist but to post this... Since the power had been out for three days Griffin and I spent a lot of time at his grandparents, who had power. This is a picture of grandma holding Griffin while she did Wii fit aerobics. He passed out in seconds!

Hair Pulling

Griffin has started a painful new habit...hair pulling. Once he gets a hold of your hair he doesn't let go. Even Lucy has been the victim of this. Mommy has started wearing lots of pony tails!

First taste of rice cereal

Baby G's first taste of cereal was somewhat successful. He didn't hate it but wasn't quite sure what to do with it so most of it was spit right back out.

Since Griffin has outgrown the bassinet...

A Whole New World...

Griffin has recently discovered his toes. When there are no toys to play with, the toes come in handy. He tries really hard to get them in his mouth, too.

Griffin's favorite cat, Lucy

This one is for you, Patrice :)

Griffin started many new things lately, one of which is the rasberries he makes imitating us in this video. Gotta listen closely...
He also talks up a storm, loves his exersaucer and standing up with our support. You also cannot put him on his belly and expect him to stay that way anymore because he has mastered rolling over to his back within seconds. He is also very close to rolling from his back to his stomach.
Coming soon...first experience with rice cereal.
