Final Vacation Pics

I love how he is screaming at Livi out of excitement!
Playing with the hose, his favorite thing everywhere we go.

We are off to the allergist this morning to have Griffin's allergies, eczema and asthma checked out. Wish us luck, this stuff stresses his mom out!

After Dinner High

This video was taken in Destin after dinner one night. That happy scream is actually coming from Griffin.

Family Pics

Cool Park

There was a park by our house in Destin that was really cool. Griffin loved the little slide with steps that he could climb up and go down all by himself.

Riding the Train and Eating Poolside

Some more pics from the Destin vacation. I think this was the day Griffin started not feeling quite himself. A couple days later we were in urgent care, which wasn't the highlight of our vacation. He had a runny nose, fever, horrible cough, wheezing (which required a breathing treatment) and then the vomiting.... He threw up everything for 3 days straight. Thanks to an awesome Dr back at home who saw us on a Sunday morning we figured out G had pnuemonia. He is now starting to eat again and keeps most of his food down. Fever is gone but the cough is still pretty bad. Quite a stressful couple days but glad he is feeling better~!

Cousin Cam

Griffin loved getting to hang out with his cousins on the trip. He would sporatically go up and give them hugs. Usually with Cam it ended up knocking her over. These pictures were taken in the Pack-n-Play we kept by the poolside, which they actually enjoyed going in!

Showering

He would have stayed in the shower by the pool all day long if we let him. He would always look shocked initially and then smile a couple minutes later.

Sprinkler and Sand Table Fun

This week has been a busy week. Scott has been out of town, we have had painters painting the exterior of our house, arborists trimming our trees, we (grandmas and myself) have painted the master bedroom, and closets have been getting cleaned out. In other words, we are getting our house ready to be sold. Yesterday, Griffin and I took a break from it all to play with cousins, Livi and Cam. We had a great time playing outside together. We leave in the middle of the night for Destin so I will post some pics when we get back!

Children's Museum

We went to the Children's Museum today with Brittany and Ruth. They had a great time running around and playing. They are almost at the independent age when they can toddle around on their own, which is nice for the moms! Some help is still needed going down slides, climbing stairs, etc. I love the top picture because Griffin has recently started watching older children to see what they are doing and then trying whatever it is by himself. Pretty smart~!

Woodland Mound Waterpark

If you live in the city and have young children, this is the place to go! It is free for kids under 2 and has tons of fun water-themed activities. We went there today with grandma, Brittany and Ruth. Grandma took them down the slide over and over and they both loved it!

Happy Wet 4th of July

Patrick gave everyone rides on the dirtbike.
Griffin loved the fresh rhubarb from the garden. He munched on it for an hour, while Zuzu kept watch :)

Griffin with his favorite "cousin", Daniel.

Here is Scott and Griffin at the farm. Griffin is reaching for the camera, as always.

We had a great time at the farm with the Gundersons and grandma and grandpa, despite all the rain. Griffin wasn't bothered by the fireworks, either. He actually clapped after each one.

Tubing

Although this video isn't about Griffin, I couldn't resist. Grandma was laughing soooooo hard!

Boating in Indian River

Here is Scott tubing.

Here is Griffin's face while watching dad go tubing. He wants to smile but you can see a lot of apprehension in those eyes!

Here is grandma showing Griffin some birds.

Here is a picture of grandpa trying to help Griffin cool off by dipping him in the water. As you could see, many parts of the river were very shallow.
