Outnumbered
We got to hang out with Livi and Cam last night and we had a great time, although we now know what it feels like to be outnumbered :) It must have been somewhat apparent because in the second picture you can see our child chowing down on a leaf. We wondered what it was when it came back up 30 minutes later. Livi was a very helpful little girl, as you can tell by the first picture.

Sleeping Position
I have found Griffin sleeping in this position (bottom up, face down, head in hands) many times lately. Thought I'd share with everyone how he now sleeps. While on the note of sleeping, we are proud to say our child might possibly like sleeping for the first time in his life. He takes two hour and a half naps and sleeps well at night but the best part is watching him when you get lay him in the bed. He smiles and does his excited grunt and turns his head to the side and closes his eyes.

Smart Little Guy
Some new Griffin things:
-pointing the remote at the tv and pushing buttons (this might come from a child who was breastfed by a mother who would always flip through Oprah or Ellen shows while feeding him).
-putting the phone to the back of his head (not ear for some reason) and babbling
-saying truck ("chuck")
-can now do a 180 while walking. He will walk toward you, stop, and turn around and walk back where he came from all on his own.
-Lastly, this morning while I was reading him a book we got to a page with flowers and he reached his head to the book and "smelled"(which is more like blowing snot out of his nose, but we'll take it)! I had read him other books that have flowers and we always "smell" them together but I thought this was neat because it was different book and he initiated it himself.
-Sorry for not having many pics or videos lately. With Scott out of town and a sick child (he has quite the nasty cold) its hard to get many pics.

We Miss you Dad
Scott has been out of town this week and I think for the first time Griffin realizes he's gone. He will look in certain places where he can usually find Scott and he has been a little more fussy at night when he usually sees him. We can't wait to see him on Friday...it is hard being a single working mom, I don't know how people do it!

We Love Him...
Griffin has started some new things that we just love around here. He now gives kisses for real. If I say, "Can Mommy have a kiss?" he comes towards me making the "mmmmmmmm" sound and then opens his mouth nice and wide for a wet kiss. We figured out the "mmmmmm" sound is from when we give him kisses and making the kissing noise (which involves the lips smacking at the end, he just doesn't know how to do the end part:)
He also has a new laugh that involves his mouth being wide open, almost like he is mocking others that are laughing too. He does it constantly when he is showing off, whether walking, playing peek-a-boo or just wants attention.
Lastly...walking. He now does it all the time. His favorite is to go from one person to another and back and forth and back and forth. All the while doing that loud open-mouth mocking laugh. I have got to get all this on camera as I'm sure I'm not doing it justice.
You think you can't love a human being possibly anymore and then another day comes along and you're proved wrong again.
