New Sink!

Griffin loves taking baths in the new sink his dad installed over the weekend. Thanks dad, we are so proud of your plumbing skills!

Dancing

Griffin has started dancing to music, any kind, even the tunes from toys. He usually "raises the roof" as his main dance move but he doesn't show that in this video. He can dance while crawling or sitting now, too :)

Warmer Weather = Parks

Since the weather has been warmer we have enjoyed going to different parks around the city. Griffin has loved them all so far.

Fun at Grammy and Grampy's

Griffin got to take a ride on Grampy's shoulders, ride a bike and let his hair blow in the wind on a swing at Grammy and Grampy's yesterday. We had a lot of fun!

BIG NEWS!

Yesterday while mom and dad were both at work and Grammy Lyons was watching Griffin, he took his first steps. He has been walking around with us holding one of his hands for a couple weeks now but yesterday he took three steps without holding someone's hand. He is always blowing us away with new things but this one is pretty big!
His list of words now includes "boo" (balloon-for any brightly colored object higher than his head and also for peek-a-boo), "kee" (kitty-whenever he sees the neighbors cat), "dog, dog" (dog-whenever he hears or sees a dog), "dada" (dad). Still not consistent with mom, but I know I have many years ahead to hear that word!

Aunt Shell and Uncle Derek

Griffin loved hanging out with his aunt and uncle who were in town for the funeral. You can't tell by the picture but baby Moore is getting bigger and Aunt Shell has a wonderful baby bump because of it!

The Whole Donovan Crowd

After a couple full days of celebrating great-grandma's life we got together for whole group picture. I'm sure she was smiling down on us during the picture.

First taste of Skyline

Aunt Shell is in town so we of course went to Skyline for lunch today. Griffin got his first taste of Skyline and loved it! He must be his mother's son! Another reason to love Skyline...nothing there is made with any kind of nut or nut oil :)
