Thanks Grammy

These pictures were taken a couple weeks ago on a trip to the park with Grammy, Aunt Megan and cousins Livi and Camryn. It was Griffin's first time swinging and sliding. Thanks for the help Livi :)

For Aunt Shell

Griffin officially has camera shyness. Every time I get out the video camera to capture him laughing, talking, playing, etc. he automatically stops what he's doing.

Merry Early Christmas!

Riding the Horsie

Although he tried to jump for the first five minutes, he eventually got the hang of it and started rocking. The smiles tell all!

Sleeping

Griffin must sleep with his hands under his head because for the last few days I have found him with hand marks on his forehead after his naps.

Update

Is this what it feels like to sleep through the night without having to get up every couple hours??? Griffin went to bed last night and slept from 8 PM 'till almost 7 AM without more than a couple whimpers and moans here and there. We are little scared to be excited as that seems awful quick to go from terrible sleeper to wonderful sleeper, but we will take it! He has also been putting himself to sleep for naps. Everyone is just a little bit happier today :)

The Hardest Thing I Have Ever Done...

Last night, Scott and I decided we would let Griffin cry every time he woke up in the middle of the night. Neither of us have gotten a full night's sleep in over 6 months, as baby G gets up at least 2-4 times a night, requiring attention or feedings that last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. We put Griffin to bed at 8, he got up at 11:45 and cried for 20 minutes... not so bad. Then he got up at 12:45 and (no exaggerations here) cried for an hour and 25 minutes. After 45 minutes I started crying too. When he got up in the morning Scott and I both ran in and were greeted by this smile, thank God. I hope this doesn't keep up for more than a couple nights. It really tests every bit of strength in me.

I had a hard time with this one...

For some reason seeing Griffin drink from a cup from the first time really threw me off. Watching him roll over, sit up and "talk" didn't seem to mean he was growing up as much as drinking from a regular cup.
